I LOVE THIS!!!! It really does remind of Yuki Kajiura's music, which I really love a lot. This song is like a mix of historical and modern pop music, for lack of better words.

Yuki Kajiura's music is actually New-Age, Multicultural, Ethnic, Classical, J-Pop, and of course, Anime-Themed Soundtracks.

Personally, I'd especially love to keep listening to FictionJunction YUUKA's Anime Soundtracks, and I've done some translations myself!

You can buy them on Amazon, though not cheaply. Asian internet sales sites are cheaper.

They're not really pop-ish at all. I don't know how I'd classify FJ, really. Soundtracks, I guess.

But awesome music, nonetheless. Kajiura kicks ass.

Normally I don't like "pop", but I really like this. Maybe it's because unlike Americanized pop the lyrics are actually very good and she has a wonderful voice (plus it does remind me of Bakumatsu, as some of her other songs remind of of the various amines they were in). I may have to pick up some of these songs on CD if I can find them outside of Japan...
