All we ask is to be let alone.

-Jefferson Davis

---
I worked night and day for twelve years to prevent the war, but I could not. The North was mad and blind, would not let us govern ourselves, and so the war came.

-Jefferson Davis

---
Once you get them running, you stay right on top of them, and that way a small force can defeat a large one every time... Only thus can a weaker country cope with a stronger; it must make up in activity what it lacks in strength.

Who could not conquer with such troops as these?

My troops may fail to take a position, but are never driven from one!

-Stonewall Jackson

---
Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.

-Stonewall Jackson

---
Our God was my shield. His protecting care is an additional cause for gratitude. I see from the number of physicians that you think my condition dangerous, but I thank God, if it is His will, that I am ready to go.

Let us cross over the river, and rest under the shade of the trees . . .

-Stonewall Jackson

---
A true man of honor feels humbled himself when he cannot help humbling others.

-Robert E. Lee

---
Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less.

-Robert E. Lee

---
I think it better to do right, even if we suffer in so doing, than to incur the reproach of our consciences and posterity.

-Robert E. Lee

---
I tremble for my country when I hear of confidence expressed in me. I know too well my weakness, that our only hope is in God.

-Robert E. Lee

---
The war... was an unnecessary condition of affairs, and might have been avoided if forebearance and wisdom had been practiced on both sides.

-Robert E. Lee

---
Believe that you can whip the enemy, and you have won half the battle.

-General J. E. B. Stuart

---
The withdrawal of a State from a league has no revolutionary or insurrectionary characteristic. The government of the State remains unchanged as to all internal affairs. It is only its external or confederate relations that are altered. To term this action of a Sovereign a 'rebellion' is a gross abuse of language.

-Jefferson Davis

---
Obstacles may retard, but they cannot long prevent the progress of a movement sanctified by its justice, and sustained by a virtuous people.

-Jefferson Davis

---
The contest is not over, the strife is not ended. It has only entered upon a new and enlarged arena.

-Jefferson Davis

---
The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form.

-Jefferson Davis

---
The people of the States now confederated.....believed that to remain longer in the Union would subject them to continuance of a disparaging discrimination, submission to which would be inconsistent with their welfare, and intolerable to a proud people. They therefore determined to sever its bounds and established a new Confederacy for themselves.

  • Nicely done "RSA". I meant to tell you I have "7" Confederate garves in my little country church yard near Pittsboro NC. I'm going to be placing flags for North Carolina's CSA Memorial Day. I'll be gatting a video camera soon so I'll film them and put 'em on my channel.

  • @CNS2, Sounds great. I'm looking forward to seeing it, CNS2.

  • Wonderful video!

  • @jfranklins, Appreciate it kindly.

  • THEY are the Greatest Generation, true Heros indeed. Any man who would fight in defense of his home and that of his neighbor is well worth emulating. Thanks for this, PP. Good work. Deo Vindice.

  • Thank you for your efforts RSA. Your videos are a help to me in educating my love ones about the truth that remains hidden in our schools. I was telling my son last night about why the Civil War happened. Also how we as a people are in a state of wage slavery and our money (Federal Reserve Notes) are not true wealth. I told my daughter to take her cigarette money and invest in silver. These little things add up and sets people free. Truth is so refreshing and needed as we know it sets us free!!

  • There are real Confederate ghosts in Lexington, Missouri, and other places around like Lone Jack and Westport. I've seen them and Union ghosts too. Basically they're really sad, usually very young boys killed in their teens or early 20s that never passed over. There's a lot of bad blood along the Kansas-Missouri border that still causes psychic disturbances. Respect the war dead always, North or South. Never fail to do so, or you'll pay dearly. I'm not talking KKK ghost riders either. Real ghost

  • When I was a hippie back in college I got stoned in a small Confederate graveyard out south of Kansas City, Missouri. The ghosts were kinda pissed off I think, cos we saw all kinds of disturbing stuff. Never get stoned in a Civil War graveyard. Not only is it disrespectful, the spirits will mess you up. Seriously.

  • Btw, thank you for including a woman!

  • I like how you did this. It is one thing to look forward with your beliefs, but to look forward without looking back is a mistake. Thus I think you should enjoy the battle videos and tributes here on YT, and thus, I am thrilled to see you make this video. We must keep our vets in our forefront of sight at all times, to see and think of what they did for their country.

  • @MrSuperpunch019, I am about the biggest opponant of imperialism you'll ever find. I'm a critic of the US Empire's wars. Please don't lump me in with those who cheer the Spanish-American War (which was imperialism) or the extermination of the Plains Indians tribes. Here, we do not cheer such savagry.

  • @MrSuperpunch019, Well "nativist" is just a slur word and your cursing is not necessary. No one here endorses what Jackson did. Southron nationalists generally don't like Jackson for many reasons, among them the Trail of Tear. Native Americans sided with the South during Lincoln's invasion for a reason - they hated the Feds. The last CSA general to surrender was a full-blooded Cherokee (Stand Watie).

  • @MrSuperpunch019

If I lived in a hill and lived off of the land, would it be "right" for me to forcefully exclude a bunch of farmers who wanted to move in and displace me?

I would say not. The Natives were very "statist" in their land claims. I certainly don't endorse what was done to them, but lets not fall into the trap of thinking that the losers of wars are the good guys.

And I know you know that this guy doesn't endorse things like that. RSA's nationalism is completely parochial.

  • @texconfed Indeed, TexConfed, the GREATEST generation, even my father, of the Greatest Generation, says this.
