@DoctorKashEXtremisT I cannot compare both, but I can say that if I have to choose from an XPS 15 or an XPS, 15z both with the same tech specs, I will go for the later one.

Does the cheaper xps 15 with the i3 processor have the same "lay-out" like this model(lit up key board, battery meter,...)? And would I be able to play recent games on it? The one I want to buy has the Nvidia 525m graphics card. Please reply, it would mean a lot! ;)

@WildWouterO Yes, the design is same, however the back lit keyboard is an option and may or may not be available. If you would like to do gaming, I suggest go for the higher model which has 2GB graphics memory.

@DoctorKashEXtremisT Just for some food-for-thought, the XPS 15 has a fully, more functional keyboard, and it also seems to have less 'horror' stories than the 15z.
