@wendyverdades that's not true, just because ppl would much rather see it in the original language with subtitles doesn't mean they are racist, I feel that a lot of times, many movies are better with their original audio because the sound matches better, the feeling and the voice of the actors are most emotionally connected, since when a voice actor is used to dub a movie like this, the feelings just is lost a lot of times.

This play contains classical elements used by Sophocles and Shakespeare, and probes difficult human relationships as well as the latest of what we know concerning incest, betrayal and dynastic conflict. And WE'RE too stupid to read subtitles?!? I want to hear the real actors fury and concern! Fortunately, the original is on TV occasionally. And what a movie it is....in the original!

@cherritown Didn't see the original post but I am also puzzled; how is it "racist" to prefer subtitles? I prefer them myself; I'd rather hear the actors' own voices, even if I need subtitles to understand what they're saying.

@TheKEface There was a lot of cruelty in his "nice" behaviour; he knows very well that she is slowly being killed by this medicine and yet she has no choice but to take it -- because he orders it. He is pretending to be very concerned about her health but he knows (and so does she) that it's a sham.

@angelicwrd He didn't cheat on this one with the other woman. His son by the woman who is now the doctor's wife was born *before* he married this second wife, although he married this one mainly for political reasons. The problem his current wife has is that he obviously still has feelings for his first wife -- he kept her portrait hanging on the wall for 20 years.
