  • i have a question about the love bird. do they die really easily because my mum had 2 when i was young and i want to get some for my birthday and i dnt wanna waste money just to see them die and is it good to have 4 or 3 in a cage with 2 bugies and 1 cockatiel or just all love birds in a seperate cage altogether

    1. trim their wings,2. keep only one bird, if u have 2 bird it will be hard to train and they will not bond to you,3. let it out of the cage and play with them once or twice a day, put the cage to an area where they can see people consistently,4. starve the bird and attempt to hand feed. it takes a little patient and remember these birds needs to be touch in order to get use to ur hand.

    Another thing can think of is unsuccessful mating?

    The mother could have left them alone for too long, causing them to die from the cold.

    Mother or the father could have not been in breeding condition (again resulting in unsuccessful breeding)

    If there was no nest, it would have been extremely difficult for the eggs to live on the cold cage floor.

    In any case, many things could have gone wrong. Do not take any eggs away until she has abandoned them

  • I have a lovebird, but it keeps running away from me/ my hand. is there any easy but pretty sure to work way to make him trust me? I've been looking online for weeks and still haven't found a way. Some one please help
