Even a Tegra3 soc is capable to handle UE4.. a scaled down version, of course, not supported by Epic. But if you're able to adjust the engine for the soc, it will run on it. Don't expect the same bells and whistles of the full suppoted pc version of course.

That's a hell of a lot different than what you asserted, that it wasn't coming. As a matter of fact, it outright states that the Wii U is capable of handling UE4.

exactly.. WOULD be able to port. This means that epic does not support directly the engine on the wii u platform. Infact Mar Rein says: "He clarifies this statement by saying that "We'll run on mobile phones and on a wide variety of things, so if a customer decides they want to port an Unreal Engine 4 game to Wii U, they could," but emphasizes that "Unreal Engine 3 is a really good fit for that platform.""

No, it is not a "broadway-derived project." It is a new CPU that is capable of replicating Broadway to allow Wii compatibility.

Yes it's a broadway derived project, with more cache, 3 cores and a bit of speed boost. UE 4 is never confirmed by epic and Trine 2 is 720p native upscaled to 1080p. And keep in mind that part of gpu power is dissipated for the second monitor management. I don't hate wii u, i own one, but i don't want to be self deceived.

Not broadway at all, UE 4 was confirmed by Epic almost a year ago, as was CryEngine 3, Trine 2 and Rayman are 1080p native, another half a gig is available for games if devs need it, and while you're correct that it doesn't have a 7000-series card (I figure you gotta get SOMETHING right), the 5870 that IS in it is WAAAY hotter than the 6670 that will be in the PS4/720.

No watson but broadway, no unrealn engine 4.. never cryengine3 and nor 1080p native (only upscaled..). Only 1GB of the 2GB avaible for games.. and no, not a 7000 graphics series.
