i don't know. I thought sato won all three round. There wasn't a need to go into the extra round.
Sato gave his all in the first three round, so he gased out at the end.
Worse judge fight of the tournament.

Sato was too tired to use his usual strategy in OT. He should have at least kept Drago at bay with the jab though.

Sato has INCREDIBLE heart.. he can't even stand up straight, he's getting hit over and over and all he's doing is trying to punch back and knee back... Drago shows a lot of heart too but.. Sato is incredible.. Jesus..

The judges were fucking blind who scored this fight. Sato won after the first 3 rounds. Sato made combinations and scored the whole fight with lowkicks. The only thing drago did was throwing big single punches and kicks and most of them were blocked. It's important the crowd loves you in Japan than the judges will always score in your favorite.

Though Sato won the 3 matches....don't know why the judges declared another round. But he gassed big time

Therefore he need to put in the spinning back kick in a combo as a counter. Like punch punch, go back, the enemy going after him to attack, lay out one or to punches as you move back then when he holding one glove forward to cover up, bam! turn around with the spinning back kick.
-
It all depends man. Sometimes relying on kicks can be dangerous. If you do a spinning kick, the opponent may be somewhere else by the time you've turned around fully. And on such a level of fighting, nobody can simply absorb punches out of nowhere anymore. It's too risky.

wow what a surprise.....one more round a drow.........typical japanese judges decision when sato or masato have their asses kicked all over the ring
-
i think the judge call was fair ... sato won first round while second was draw and drago clearly won third ... (not to mention fourth)
-
One thing about drago is that he has more kicking techniques in his bag than most fighters in K1. Now when he won this maybe he will get more confidence to use those in the future. :)
Yes, he does. A couple of times!
