Using less energy, and generating with renewables, is easier, cheaper, and more effective than fossil fuel funded propaganda would have you believe.
Here are some great examples of why it's not only smart, it's patriotic, too.

  • You mock the reality and belittle the "deniers" but, in reality, you have your head screwed on backward and are dreaming a thing that is going to radically change is our lifestyle not our production of energy only some form of atomic fusion that is safe wold change it, but the fear mongering would be huge

  • Could the Wind Turbines of Chile Harm Blue Whales?

    Time AARON NELSEN

Wind turbines are increasingly recognized as a lethal hazard for birds, but some scientists now think they're also harmful to marine life. From half a mile away, the whooshing turbines emit an acceptable noise level of around 50 decibels; but if some of the Ecopower turbines are placed as close as 10 meters from the shoreline, they say, levels for ocean life could approach if not exceed a more harmful 100 decibels.

  • @JPO1618 LOL thanks for pointing me to MST3000 - I hadn't seen it. Merry Saturnalia!

  • @SierraBravoOneNiner Yeah, it was one of those words that felt wrong as I was typing it. And while This Island Earth is wonderful, Mystery Science Theater 3000 lampoon it deliciously.

  • @JPO1618 I thought it was an "Interociter"? No? One of my fav classic sci-fi flicks.

  • Wow! They have an Anterociter too!

  • @tskasa1 There is not a single liquid fuel alternative that could displace massive amounts of oil. Even Algae, our best bet, is not going to replace fossil fuels. If you have the answer, I would like to hear it. Do yourself a favor and watch the video I linked to.
