Everyones trying to say a supercharged mustang will beat a zl1. That may be true.. But if thats the case then your talking about a modded mustang vs a stock camaro zl1. Zl1 is a package so no matter what its considered stock.

Its definitly not a factory ZL1, but SLP (who owns the rights to the name ZL1, not GM) does make a ZL1 that is an upgraded SS. Its possible that's what you're looking at here, but if it is, then its not in "stock" SLP trim either with those tires and no "ZL1" badging above the front marker lights. I wasn't at the show so I can only speculate on it being a SLP. There are lots of non-ZL1 supercharged Camaros out there, even some with the Corvette ZR1's 638 hp LS9 engine in them.

@mustangmikeca But the point is that you have to mod the crap out of a Mustang to keep up with a ZL1. A ZL1 just tested by Motor Trend, who hates Chevys, smoked the Boss 302 LS they brought with them, by 2.4 seconds a lap. If we're not talking factory, then Lingenfelter will pump up the Camaro to 1400 hp if you really want it. When Shelby comes out with a GT1500, let me know. The current Shelby barely beats a stock SS because it can't hook up and just spins the tires.
