Hi @drumdemon3! Thank you for stoppin' by. I've been a Vater endorsed artist for 7 years now. For the last 4 years or so I've used their Red Wood Beaters. Vater has made a few updates on the shafts in this period of time. Since this vid was shot 2 years ago that could be why you notice a little different coloration.
