Drum solo using a Roland TD-9 drumset. No music, just an original solo containing latin beats and various fills, tricks (not really), and double bass rhythms. This is from 2 years ago and I'm now 5x better. (haha, just kiddin). But as any video, it's highly imperfect.

  • I've heard that people are having trouble using double bass on the bass pad on this kit. Is this true?

  • I think it works fine for dbl bass. The only downside I see is that the bass sounds are a little quiet the way the balance is on all the kits. It could be adjusted through the volume controls though.

  • Roland has been at this for years and years and years and record all the sounds from acoustic sets in studios. Yes, acoustic does sound better, but the difference is really very small. Especially playing live, because your acoustic set will have to be amplified there as well, losing just that edge.

  • wtf is your technique if you cant apply it to a digital drum?? what a newb, a lot of GREAT drummer use digital drum..it very useful
