Recently deleted the rear converters. On the 2004 - 2005 F150s with 4 cat systems, the rear cats are not O2 monitored, so cutting them out frees up some restriction, gives you more volume and aggression, and does so without setting the CEL. So all in all, its still pretty much legal, has cats ( two front ones ) and the light is out, no leaks.

Exhaust specs as stated in the video,

Stock Manifolds
Rear Converter Delete
2.5" True Duals w/ X pipe
Magnaflow 11" Body Mufflers
Magnaflow 4x18" Rolled Tips

Mufflers part #11366 ( $69.22 ea )
Tips part #35117 ( $55 ea )
Mandrel Bent 2.5" system ( $230 )
Flanged 2.5" pipes with 4 U clamps ( $31 )

Total invested into my exhaust, $510.44

  • Are straight pipes or flowmaster super 10 series better?

  • @gatorboy1990 What does your defiition of 'better; mean? Toned? louder? Straight pipes sound like hick trash in my opinion, Flowmaster does not flow the best, sounds alright but the 2 chambered mufflers flap a bit. The Super 10 series sounds pretty damn nice though I will say. But I would re-do this setup over straights & Flowmaster.

  • today im getting my rear cats removed and changing the angle of my straight pipes from coming out under the tailgate to out each side like yours it would be better

  • @gatorboy1990 Yes, 45 degree exits behind both wheels will be a hint louder since it guides the sound to the surrounding areas, and the sound can rumble through buildings.

  • how did u delete the rear cats?

  • @twfish2013 Cut them right out, fitted pipe and adapters in, welded in place.

  • @DarrenWS6 loud, agressive like a growl sound that can be heard from a far distance like diesel but straights sound nice. i would definitely do your set up on my next gas powered truck

  • i have the rear cat's deleted on mine. but my life went off even with a non fouler. but your truck sounds great. i love the sound of mine.

  • @DarrenWS6 k i wasnt sure if it was electronical like the new powerstrokes. and i plan on takin all the exhaust on mine even getting new headers and straight piping it with a 6 inch pipe and running it out the sides before the wheels with an 8 inch tip

  • @sandman130z Doubt it was much louder, camcorders dont pick up the sound exact, and this truck is now running 12" Dynomax Bullets.
