At Mt. Diablo High School Drill Meet, Everett Alvarez High School took 2nd Place in the Colorguard Regulation Catagory. Oh yea I forgot to mention this competition was hosted by an Army JROTC unit and we are Navy JROTC unit. We had to adjust to their regulations. Not bad for a different branch unit.

  • nah we had cdr mac and nc1 silbaugh. u may not know him

  • u need to call cut and trim cuz ur american flag is in ur right rifles face!

  • You know I would have used those commands if they were in the sequence. Plus check the date. Those commands for regulation was not available back in 2006. The cut command is new and I have never heard of the command trim. So yea.

  • dis color guard is beast...ima colorguard commander ma self...u should go against my colorguard one day

  • haha man i wish i could go back in an NJROTC uniform and compete against you. Too bad i graduated already though. All these people in here have graduated as well. But if we did get back together to compete it would be pretty awesome!.

i know u graduated already n im a commander myself in Area 11 and it would be a pleasure and an honor to compete against your color guard =)

  • for those who are making suggestions (im not saying you're wrong) remember that the command sequence might be different for this area's ROTC units. For example, I am the color guard commander of a unit in Area 11. (Southern California) and our commands require us to trim the colors and call cut. our turns arent called "Wheels" for us they are called Turns(i.e. Right Turn, March). Wheels for us are 180 degrees turns. But remember if your flag doesnt make it in the harness it has to stay there. =)

  • hey i got a question in my colorguard im a afjrotc

we always start out at parade rest why wasnt done here

  • we only have a lame four man guard! but we are 5th in the nation so its all good!

  • i feel like a dumbshit, knowing i wrote this back in 07.... sheeet.

    anyway.... fuck you Ryan. haha
