On September 8-9, 2006 there was a symposium and various events centered around the history of Mormons in the state of Missouri. An extermination order for the Mormons was given by a Governor back in the 1830s, and this order was on Missouri law for about 160 years until Senator Kit Bond rescinded this order, then as Governor.

  • Have a nice day. :) and I encourage you to read the book of Hebrews. From the first few verses of the book it is in stark opposition to mormonism's prophets and chapters 7-10 destroy it's claim to priesthoods as well as the BOM being "another testament" of Jesus Christ. Mormons don't read the Bible enough to know much of anything which is why I challenge them to read the Bible and look at how it's so opposed to Mormonism's doctrines and teachings

  • nor does it adhere to biblical Christianity. It's a psuedo Christian cult just like Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventist. Mormonism even blaspheme's the Biblical Jesus and is polytheistic not monotheistic. Not one mormon on here can challenge me on that because I am going by Joe Smitty's words. Not my own. 2 more nails in the coffin. The Book of Abraham is a farce! One of the biggest lies Smitty "translated" from mormon God. And the King Follet Discourse is so anti Christ it's not funny

  • of Missouri and Porter Rockwell was the one that was going to do him in, with the rest of the Danites. :) They also fail to tell how the Danites made hits on "saints" as they were called back then by the church and prophet (i say profits lol...both used loosely), that had anything to say against Smitty or Briggy later on. And the temple that was supposed to be built in Independence, spoken by mormon God to Smitty never was built. False prophet. Hands down. Bottom line, mormonism isn't Christian

  • @bggruff05 If the lands were bought legally, like in NAUVOO, ILLINOIS and KIRTLAND, OHIO, I would certainly agree, but Smith, by the time he reached independence Mo, was telling the saints that every place they set foot in God had given them. They squatted on land and even stole people's livestock. Mormonism. Mormons and their prophets and others down the road of history have always tried to portray themselves with the "WOE IS ME" mentality. They fail to tell how Smitty had hit on the governor

  • @KakkoiGuy1 I think you left out a very imporant point in the account of the latter day saints (or Mormons); that they bought the land legally! when the people of missouri started oppressing them, the state & even the US turned their back against them, so 1 of 2 opptions was laid before them, just sit back & let their faimily get killed, raped, have their propperty taken from them, or stand up for what so many who gave up their lives 2 bring into this land.

  • mormonism = nazism

    kil em all

  • come to Salt Lake one day. I'd be happy to show you around. Also, have you ever heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ? I ask because many LDS people (good people may I add) have not. I'd like to share it with you.

  • that the God of the Bible said that Jerusalem is Zion..but that's another story). When Joseph made that statement he told the Saints that the land was theirs. They started to survey lands that were already owned by people. Please, please, look into your history. The church has a habit of miscontruing the truth, as in the case of the Book of Abraham. Did you know that it's really not a writing of Abraham at all? Well, the church found out that it wasn't and tried to hide that too. You should

  • Actually my friend, if you look at the accounts of history, you'll see that Joseph brought this upon the members of the church. He told them that it their God given right to have whatever land they saw and that it was ok to take the livestock, money, and anything they wanted from the "GENTILES" in the area. If you look into the accounts of Missouri. you will see that one of Josephs many prophecies that did not come to past was that Independence, Missouri would be the NEW ZION (despite the fact

  • @KakkoiGuy1 We did not burn peoples homes. The people of Missouri raped and murdered and did many more horrible things I don't even want to imagine. Do you even know how much our church suffered because they decided to follow what they believed in and follow God.
