Yes, it's true. Their is only 3 company's that make front load washers. They are Daewoo, Samsung, and LG. All made in Korea. :(

yeah, now all apliances are rebadged Whirlpools, i.e., the "maytag epic" washer its the same as LG, Whirlpool, Kenmore and Bosch washers.
