-Next Day; 5th Period; Gym-
Selena-The dream felt so real. I can't even explain how. It's weird. (Shakes her head)
Demi- Maybe fate is trying to tell you something? Maybe there's hope of you guys being friends again? Or even becoming a couple? (Winks)
Selena- First of all, what if fate is telling me that will never happen so I should get it out of my head. Second, Miley and him are like in love and she hates me. So most likely she will get inside his head and make him hate me even more.
Demi-(Sighs) Have you ever thought positive on this situation?
Selena- There's no point, really. I'll just get my hopes up then he'll make them come crashing down. Besides, I'm ready to move on.
Demi- Okay. (Drops the subject)
-Nick & Taylor; Study Hall-
Nck- Dude, I think this is gonna be the party of the year!
Taylor- Hell yeah! I'm gonna have my brother buy some drinks.
Nick- When you say "drinks" do you mean...?
Taylor-(Smiles&Nods)
Nick- Sweet~ (Does handshake thing)
Taylor- Are you and Miley going together?
Nick- Nahh. I'm not even with her. I just use her when I need something.

-Bell Rings; 6th Period-
Taylor- Hey Selena.
Selena- Hey. How you doing?
Taylor- Good, good.
Selena-(Sees Nick walk in) Well, I'll talk to you later.
Taylor- Aren't you gonna sit here?
Selena- Um. I-
Nick- Wassup T? (Glares at Selena)
Selena- Bye Taylor. (Walks away)
Nick- Yeah. She hates that I'm in this class.
Taylor- How do you know? Do you read minds?
Nick- Dude, I was friends with her for 6 years. I paid attention.
Taylor-(Nods) Riight.
Nick- Do you like anyone, T?
Taylor- What? Oh, uh, no. Not at all, why?
Nick- Just wondering. (Looks at Selena)
Selena-(Sees him looking at her; Looks away)
Taylor- Alright then.(Sighs in relief)

-That Night-
T.V- This just in. someone from the Banks County Prison has just escaped. We have no information on who it is but he is armed and dangerous. Officers say he is headed North of the prison so be awake of your surroundings. In other news- (Shuts off)
Selena- Wow that's scary.
Uncle- Yeah. Well you better head off to bed. School night.
Selena- Okay. Where's my aunt?
Uncle- Still at work. She'll be home around midnight.
Selena- Oh okay. Well goodnight.
Uncle- 'Night. (Goes to his room)
Selena- (Stays on the couch & let's her mind wander on & off different topics;falls asleep)
-Meanwhile; Jonas House-
Nick-(Tries to fall asleep) Ughh!
[FlashBack; 5th Grade]
Nick- What do you do when you can't fall asleep?
Selena- I think of my mom. Especially after my dad just finished hitting me. It's like she helps take the pain away. And then I just drift to sleep.
Nick- She's like your angel.
Selena- Aside from you. There's a reason why God chose you as my best friend. You care about me and never want to see me hurt.
Nick-(Hugs her) Your absolutely right.
[End]
Nick- (a tear falls down)
