Mali possesses a texture that can bring a song to life by either softly caressing a word or powerfully belting it out in his dark, resilient upper chest voice.

Every aspect of his range is controlled and able to endure the demands of the music industry. His lower register is deep, rich and incredibly resonant. He also slides down from upper chest to lower chest by utilizing melismas that are rivaled by few.
The upper chest notes of his immense vocal range are sung with a neutral larynx (without strain). In addition, Mali makes use of his controlled bone-chilling vibrato to remark his strong voice.

Thanks for this technical breakdown of Mali's vocal abilities, never thought of it that way! I'd also throw in the fact that his musicianship is on point too! He plays piano/keyboard, bass, guitar and drums (I think). This brother is truly anointed! May God be praised :D
