  • Chiho has won three gold medals so far--two in the Senior Women's division, and one in Senior Pairs when she twirled with fellow World Champion, Noriko Takahashi--in addition to the numerous bronze and silver medals she has won over the years.

  • Her triple element trick is a cartwheel, walkover, cartwheel. There was a time where the U.S. athletes were the only ones who ever did walkovers, but over the years, they've become more and more popular in the world competition.

  • would it hurt the camera guys to come in closer? sheesh

  • This video clip is from the judges' DVD, so the camera man must remain zoomed out enough to see every aspect of the performance. There is an edited version available for purchase, which includes multiple-angle shots and closeups.

  • I just love the moodiness of this music...and how this performance is full of expression. Too many wonderful moments to count. The crowd is just eating it up! Thanks so much for sharing this : )

  • While I do agree that she's awesome, I'd like to point out that nobody's technique is "perfect"... She has a two-handed catch on her triple cartwheel in almost every performance I've seen of her.

  • i saw this live. it was unbelievable. everyone in the arena gave her a standing ovation. it was epic

  • She was first I think.

  • which place did she get ??

  • Hey. Just got back from BBTSA camp today. Chiho was taking some of the lessons there and was AMAZING.

  • i think shes an amazing twirler. Her technique is perfect. I wish i could twirl like her. How many times has she won world champion?

  • Sometimes it looks as though she's on fast forward.
