  • ya i just ordered a CAI for my 2006 fusion, and i was wonder can u tell like a pretty big difference from take-off and stuff... and this might sound stupid but is that hole for the MAF sensor something that u have to have? cuz i dont think the one i ordered has the hole cut///

  • hey thanks, and yeah kinda.. Not a huge difference though, it didnt really help on the low end but once i got up to 4,000+ thats when i started to notice the difference. And yeah the MAF sensor is required. I took it off completely and the car wouldnt even start, just kept turning over but never actually started. but yeah, i had to make my a own whole on this intake for it

  • why does it idle so high? I have a 1993 spirit and the lower it idles the faster it goes

  • its idle is around 800 to 1300 when cold. and 500 to 700 when warmed up.

  • is that the spectre air flow sensor adaptor? it didnt fit my friends fusion is it modified at all?

  • @osb91 Hey I have a 2008 Mercury Milan Premier V6 AWD. I was wondering how would I be able to get the K&N CAI if K&N doesn't offer the CAI Specific for the Milan? Would I have to order the 2008 Ford Fusion K&N CAI?

  • nice !!

  • @dubz1313 the slot for the MAF can be tricky to get right, i found that out the hard way

  • does this affect the engine in a bad way? like can it take this much added horsepower?

  • You should extend the tubing and route it down the fender. The closer to the floor the cooler the air. I'll see if I can upload some pictures of mine tomorrow. You'll see the difference on ur top RPMs.

  • dude how much did the intake filter and the pipe cost u?

  • i have a Mercury Milan V6 k&n CAI and magnaflow high cat. and magnaflow exhaust its pretty loud but not as loud as your straight pipe lol

  • damn it sounds like a mustang GT

    arnt these car quite stock?
