  • You choosed the same scores that were danced on the telecast.

  • I did, but unknowingly so.

But still, I think the whole break dancing to the score nominees was just unfitting, and unnecessary. The dancers were pretty good, but the choreography didn't even fit the music. Who does the robot to the theme from Up?

  • 1. Avatar (Yes, Avatar)

    2. Sherlock Holmes

    3. Up

    4. The Hurt Locker

    5. Fantastic Mr. Fox

I can't believe Fantastic Mr. Fox got nominated. It sounds like it was written by a hyper 4 year old with ADHD. A Single Man should've had its place. It was incredible.

  • Well, the Mr. Fox score as a whole, is actually quite wonderful, and charming.

The one score that I don't think deserved it's nomination is The Hurt Locker (Which I think was just to tie Avatar in nominations). I'd have preferred to see something like Star Trek, or District 9, or even The Twilight Saga: New Moon. I myself even thought A Single Man would be nominated (I haven't seen it yet, though).

There were even cases where The Informant had buzz in the category.

  • a single man should of 1)had more nominations (best picture too) & score. i still do not know why it wasnt nominated forescore

  • My favorite was Sherlock Holmes, but that's just me

  • My favourite was The Hurt Locker.

  • Best- Hurt Locker

  • the original score of up is not that good, i think that avatar score shoud've won

  • I'm still happy for Up's victory: a masterpiece, and the score is one of the best I've ever heard! Excellent work, master Giacchino!

  • @xhackmasterx movie is what i mean ofcorse

  • @Insanekid95 i thought sherlock holmes was a better movie than the hurt locker. it was more interesting. avatar was by far the best.

  • I agree, A Single Man should be here; but I also liked Fantastic Mr. Fox, but as @VMKCapn I think the one that should have been taken away was The Hurt Locker

  • I agree. The dancers were great, but it was too long. I prefere a sample of each one orquested by the show director.
