Anthony Graber's Case Thrown Out! "Police Officer On A Traffic Stop Has No Expectation of Privacy!"

EAT IT! As many of you know country wide there are cops that are under the illusion that it is against the law for the general public to record them regardless of the location. Or to translate this into real life, it is against the law to hold a cop accountable for his actions. Anthony Graber in 2010 was driving reckless on his bike down the freeway when a unmarked cop in a unmarked car got him to stop, jumped out of his car and started waving a gun around, it wasn't until after this he informed Anthony Graber that he was a cop. Anthony was recording all of this on his helmet cam and he did what anyone would do, uploaded this to the internet. WRONG MOVE. lol. Anthony house was raided by the cops early in the morning, stealing all of Anthony's computers and arrested Anthony on Wire Tap Charges. Because of this charge Mr Graber was facing up to 16 years in prison. That's right trying to hold a cop accountable for his actions will now land you 16 years in the slammer. Thankfully the Wire Tap Charges were thrown out by Judge Emory A Pitt Jr stating that " Maryland's wire tap law allows recording of both voice and sound in areas where privacy cannot be expected. He ruled that a police officer on a traffic stop has no expectation of privacy." So guess what cops, you might have to think twice about beating and tazing people just for fun now. PS, HA HA!

This is a pretty incredible story. Thanks for sharing. Next time though, please don't generalize all cops as being bad and trying to get away with illegal actions. There are some dirty cops out there, but there are also A LOT of good ones that fight very hard to keep us safe!!!!!

It's a twofold problem. Cops have the attitude that they can walk on water. As citizens, we have been trained to believe it. In court you have nobody on your side unless you hire a lawyer. Cops, county attorneys, judges etc are all against you. Without a lawyer or an extremely high level of knowledge of the law, you don't stand a chance. The judge will "guard the cops back." This a video that every freedom defender should see. Nice job!!

A cop(NYPD)that pulled me over because I ran a red light,driving a cab with the cab driver(without a license for it),and was drunk(.16)and and underage(20),my friend pretended to have chest pains,he called the ambulance,and they found out he was ok,but that was after the cop actually let me go to where my friend said to drop it off(a lie).I was surprised,he let me driver the car after,without a license and drunk,also,I did not even take a sobriety test,extremely lucky,very leint cop,was relieved
