Samir Nasri's two goal against Manchester United in the 08/09 season.

Sorry about not having the full 30 pass build up to the second goal

  • @DLongmuir16 and then we beat first team arsenal and man city away :)

  • @LostFaceify trololololol

  • @kallum14 but dude, you mad right?

  • @LostFaceify Hey bro, if you think having a conversation with someone about a football game when I never even put an exclamation mark is me being mad, then you are abit silly.

  • @kallum14 Hey bro , you mad?

  • @bandmedal plus, 3 of Citys goals came in the last minutes of the game, when United were trying all out to get back into it, we only had ferdinand and smalling back in defence, everyone else was forward, the score makes it look a lot worse than it actually was, I don't remember Arsenal only having 2 defenders back ever in the game.

  • @bandmedal of course its relevant, for any team challenging for the title it isn't exactly going to be a good idea to sell 2 of your best players and not get replacements in the season you're hoping to challenge for the title, and then just blame the loss on it + injuries, anyway 1 game doesn't change a lot, any top team should have strength in depth, what happened to Arsenal having the best youth in the country? Now I'm hearing its cause there was injuries they lost, lol.

  • bad weather in London that day but anyway i enjoyed it.!

  • @kallum14 They did have replacements lined up, they just signed them 3 days later. Whether that was their fault or not is irrelevant here, the point that was made above is that Arsenal had a whole load of temporary circumstances go against them for that one game (the quirks of the transfer window, injuries, suspensions, etc.)

The only player missing from the City game was Vidic (and Cleverley if you want to include him). United actually had fewer injuries then than they do now.
