Paragliding is something we just love to do. I can almost guaranty to you that there are at list dozen of things you do in life that are significantly more dangerous than paragliding. Beside driving car down the street skiing is incomparable more dangerous but still you approve it because everybody does it. Did you know that football and cheerleading is also very dangerous?

@miraclepieco ... are you trying to suggest that paraglider spontaneously folds up? In 18 of flying I have never heard of such thing. You should understand what happened to this dude much better before making comments like that.

@miraclepieco it didn't spontaneously fold up, the pilot took off in strong wind and thermal conditions, then pushed out the speedbar... risky maneuver in dangerous conditions- if you race your car on an unfamiliar road you can fold it up on a tree...
