  • Even the Creator admits to being capricious and incompetent, and has been taken by surprise by the idea of " fine tuning ".

The Creator has posted a video on YouTube. The message comes to you directly, without the need for transcription or interpretation by iron-age scribes, or analysis by Stephen Hawking.

The video tells you how you came to be here, outlines the meaning and purpose of your life, and gives you an insight into the future of humankind.

See ' God says sorry. '

  • @PAULOcbi It is the pinnacle of human arrogance. Your "cup of ocean water" analogy is brilliantly accurate. Life on earth primarily revolves around water and oxygen to function. Life could evolve on other planets that rely on different gases (hydrogen seems the most likely since it's the most abundant in our universe) and a liquid molecule of any kind. I, for one, don't think "alien life" would necessarily be humanoid. That's another arrogant assumption.

  • @Larkinized2010 true say,and to think we are the greatest collusion of some supernatural god-king is arrogant and selfish. To admit we are the only life in the universe is extremely naive considering how little of the universe we have observed. It would be like taking a drinking glass of water down to the ocean ,scooping up a glassful of ocean and declaring,"Nope! No whales in here!"

  • It is arrogant to believe that the universe was "finely tuned" for a specific species of ape, on a tiny planet, orbiting a tiny star.

  • @empreme yeah do some research. 90% of scientists are Aheist. Christianity is strong in poorer, mostly lliterate countries. You say Atheism is for the layman, c'mon get out there man, its a pretty big world!!! Thats not even the point, of course you're going to champion for christianity so you're naturally going to think Atheist is weak. The fine tuning argument is a joke, fine-tuned for???????

  • @atheistcommonsense Here is something you should get familiar with: Best seller does not imply sound and valid arguments. Atheism is weak, while being scholarly up until the end of the 20th century, all your heavy hitters seem to be doing is attacking religion with poorly written diatribes that attract only those at a popular level. It's not surprising that it would attract laymen. That's all it can do. Anyone with some sense will see right through it and that's exactly what's happening.

  • @empreme What? Do you have ADHD? You said there books are disasters of scholarship, and i just pointed out that they werent scholarly books so what point you were trying to prove. That would be like me saying the movie Titanic was a terrible comedy. But wow 40+ books and not even one best-seller, that does speak volumes! Yes Dawkins and Hitchens should be ashamed for having best-selling books, way to think that one through. Having a best-seller does mean something. Revival?!?! Proof Please

  • @atheistcommonsense Does WLC have a best seller? Who cares.. Seriously.. What does that have to do with anything? Do you really want to play that game? WLC has two doctorates and 150 or so published articles with 40+ books authored or edited. Population counts? Who cares? The question was: is this the best you guys have? I hope not. Theism has seen a revival over the last 40 years. They aren't scholarly books? Yes, emphatically they're not. They should be ashamed.

  • @empreme They are not scholarly books, they are meant for the layman. Both dawkins and hitchens have bestsellers, does WLC? Its funny though, half the people think hitch won while the other half think WLC won. $0 years ago atheism was like less than 1% of the us population, now its at 3% (c.20000000). Atheism must be doing something right. Australia's PM is an atheist, while countries like france, germany and sweden only 20-30% of the population believes in a god.
