Casey Neill recorded live at the Green Salmon coffee house in Yachats, Oregon on 10.12.07. A great rendition of an old Huskur Du song. I desaturated the video since it just sounds better in black and white.
Thanks for the info about where I can find the original version of the song. And for correcting my spelling of the band's name. I just spelled it the way the poster of this vid spelled it in the info section above. I just noticed that Hüsker Dü isn't listed in the Tags section of this vid so maybe dsbridson (I'm assuming you read comments to vids you post) can add that. Thanks. More people can see this vid, esp Hüsker Dü fans. Rock on Casey!
It's Hüsker Dü. Not Huskur Du. The song is on the album "Warehouse: Songs and Stories" from 1987. There should be some videoes of Hüsker Dü performing it on the tube by now...
Aho....Brother. Thanks for the video treat. I love Casey Neill and have not seen him or heard his music since the Earth First R.R.R. In the North Umpquah N.F. We actually named our camp at the gathering camp Riff Raff. What a treat his music is so hard to come by.

hey thanks for getting Casey out there to a bigger audience! I'm a fan from way back and love that more folks are enjoying his songs. go casey and the norway rats. you all rock and I can't wait for your next pdx show.
Great job on the song and the video. Kudos to you both. I'm glad that I checked out Casey Neill. S/o made a comment about how good he was on Fionn Regan's "Snowy Atlas Mountains" vid comments section.
I can't seem to find the orginal Huskur Du version on YouTube though. Anyone want to post that?
