Space shuttle doesn't go straight up. It goes up sideways into orbit. Think about it.

@chanrobi An orbit is freefall. It means the earth is pulling you down, but your going so fast that it is also moving you forwards. The shuttle falls onto its back and climbs into orbit that way, flying horizontal. In fact everything that has been sent into orbit has had to do that.

To get manual control of space shuttle during launch, you go to Front Left panel and activate flight control power. Then you go to the pitch and yaw control just next to the HUD and set them to CSS. After that you just need to use keypad to steer shuttle around!

i downloaded this, but couldnt play it, something to do with my graphics card, i have a decent pc like, but i was gutted i kept gettin an error, something like gl-ard- something something not supported, was annoying but hey thats life right
