  • That is a piece of shit! I had one and i sold it next day after purchazse

  • do you still have the vest? are you selling it?

  • @laughingcrows Have you found you invested in a new stabilizing vest. I want a stablizing vest to use with my glidecam 400 pro.

  • damn..... I almost purchased this, thanks for the heads up

  • i have one...it is not the best but is an adequate first foray into arm assisted stabiliser rigging... with some modding, it can actually be a durable usable piece of kit...the vest is a real letdown but can be modified too

  • You're right - Varisoom's DV sportster sucks. And so does their support.

Their ad said this vest works with rigs from 1 to 7 lb - WRONG!

At just over 7 lbs, my Canon T2i and Glidecam HD 1000 will barely budge the vest's arm down which means you have to muscle it down while trying to remain steady (impossible)

Your other option - add five plus lbs to your rig which is murder on your shoulders since the vest has ZERO padding.

$800 bucks wasted. Never again Varizoom.
