  • I love that little girl when she says, "No, it's not like playing." She got that right.

  • Romanian girls (and Russian) are/were TRUE gymnasts in the traditional sense of the word. The closest America ever had to a true gymnast was Shannon, and she didn't measure up to any Romanian or Russian. Girls like Alicia and Nastia and Shawn are embarrassments to the sport. My opinions.

  • I HOPE THIS LITTLE GIRL HAS MADE IT!!

  • @LMA629 true. well, people are stupid everywhere. i don't want to think that he thought about something horrible that would happen to her, but just about something that wouldn't allow her to be a champion. i hope.

  • @msalasan im not suggesting gymnastics shouldnt be allowed anymore. i love gymnastics. i just think her dad should be a least a little concerned about his daughter getting injured instead of talking about it in that nonchalant attitude

  • @LMA629 Well, that's what happens to gymnasts all over the world, even in countries like USA. They work hard and, sometimes, they got injured. I know one who got injured, couldn't do gymnastics anymore, but she is just fine, and she is a coach. Anyway, that's not the point. Gymnastics is this way - kids need to work very hard. I don't think they are forced to do it (maybe some of them and that's regrettable). But what do you suggest? Gymnastics should not be allowed anymore?

  • i guess

  • But is right you know, If you became famous you have more chances!!

Isn`t good but is the true... I don't speak grear english and I don`t know explain this well. In China is in this way too, USA is so different...

  • amina's dad: "i think she'll do it (become a champion)....assuming nothing happens to her. You never know in this sport. Anything can happen." i love how hes so nonchalant about the possibility of his daughter becoming seriously injured. that's the sign of a good parenting right there........& then he practically brags about amina having more calluses on her hands than him ("kids need a strong hand & toughness")

  • you can't read the words!
