This video is pretty awesome. Energy Drain is the way to go against blue shields once you have enough tech upgrades. Its basically reave against blue shields. Excellent medigel against the blue suns commander as well.

Energy Drain is awesome against blue shields. Wish it wasn't useless otherwise. Great video!

You can always respec to Reave or Pull on Blood Pack and Collector missions and maintain the same strategy. Also since the majority of the game has you against blue shields, energy drain will be useful more often. I would still go Pull over Energy Drain though.
