When intelligent, vibrant, and grounded young adults assemble to learn at a remarkable campus, a dynamic student body forms. In order to build this community, Pepperdine hand-selects every student invited to join each entering class. Individuals are selected on the basis of their academic preparation and their unique qualities—from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, religious, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds to varied personal experiences, passions, and accomplishments—that will contribute to the culture of the school. As a result, the campus is filled with more than 60 student clubs and organizations, an active student government, a strong athletic tradition, more than 150 on-campus events, intramural and club sports, student-led spiritual life activities every day of the week, theatre and dance productions, and much more.
