O gênio de Tom Jobim e de Claus Oggerman (Orquestrador).

Beautiful!

The beauty of Mr. Jobim's work is beyond words. So beautiful. I get upset when people dismiss this work as "elevator music". If so, I want to spend more time in elevators. Oh well! differences of opinion keep the world more interesting.

This is Oscar Peterson from Montreal.
-
This is Oscar Peterson playing piano and the arrangement is by Claus Ogerman. The same guy who made arrangements for Diana Krall.
It's definitely a great version of wave.

I love these guys with their elevator comments. i guess their brains are in the lower floors? Oscar's treatment {along with arranger of course] on the ending is really very beautiful. As for the elevator comments, I feel sorry for those who are so inclined. Go J-off to freebird
