  • FLOWERS ARE THE REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS OF THE PLANT. THE MAIN FUNCTION OF THE FLOWER IS REPRODUCTION.THEY ACCHIVE THIS BY PRODUCING SEEDS WHICH, ON GETTING FAVOURABLE CONDITIONS, PRODUCE NEW PLANTS.

    A NORMAL FLOWER consists of four whorls namely sepals, petals, androecium and gynoecium.

    example:Layering, Grafting.
