Serious question.
I thought Gin bruises if you shake it too much. Will the flavor be different if I stir rather than shake.?

@twodrinkjoe Allow me to nerd out for a moment. Shaking the gin causes the aldehydes in the liquor to combine with oxygen and makes the gin taste a lil sharper. However, I think it compliments the other ingredients in this drink and is evened out by the addition of sugar. If I were making a straight up old school gin martini, I would totally stir it but for mixed drinks it's usually fine to shake. Now excuse me while I finish taking the SAT's for fun and masturbating to Urkel.
