Death, a force no mortal can escape may be the world's only hope as the Horseman of the Apocalypse "Death" himself steps in the lead role of Darksiders II. Players will take control of Death and continue where War left off, utilizing Death's completely different style of fighting and narration. Developed by Vigil Games, Darksiders II will be coming to Xbox 360, PC, PS3, and Wii U later in 2012.

@jhnwasher WRONG the council clearly say in the beginning of Darksiders they dont want the other 3 horsemen to get involved because it would overthrow them or something, and after his brother essentially dies or whatever happens at the end of darksiders 1 he gets up and avenges his brother. they dont happen at the same time, they couldn't because, well you will see, watch more trailers okay?

@GreenAndPurpleRadio Darksiders II starts at nearly the same time as the start of the first Darksiders. After War is convicted and sent back to Earth by the Charred Council, they inform the other three Horseman of his fate. Death knowing that his brother War would never have started the Apocalypse early, flies into a rage. Believing his brother is victim of a conspiracy, Death defies the Council's orders and sets out on a personal mission to find proof of his brother's innocence.
