(cont.4) Forget what you have been programmed with by your teachers. Go to God (1 John 2:27) and by His Spirit receive the Truth. If you are a true child of God, He is to be your teacher, not those who serve the idols of their seminaries, and denominations(he that soweth discord among brethren, and he that is a liar, are both abominations to God (Pr.6:19.) There is ONE TRUTH. Teaching heresy is LYING and SOWING DISCORD. This is NOT serving God. "Choose ye this day whom ye shall serve."Josh 24:15

(cont.3)Adam fell from God through disobedience. King Saul fell from the covenant through disobedience.Solomon returned to idols and was rejected according to the Word. Judas fell "through transgression" from his office of Apostle. Hymenaeus and Alexander 1 Tim.1:20 "delivered unto Satan".1 Cor.5, a saint "delievered to Satan"(cast out of the church of Christ.) Those who take from the Word are removed from the Book Of Life. Rev.22:18-19. How clear does it have to get? Stop wrestling with God.

(cont.2)So, you "wrestle" with the scriptures nearly every day", denying some and embracing others? Not consistent. All things in Christ are "yea and amen." We must find how it all fits, the Spirit must do this for us. We must surrender to God to find the Truth of this matter, hold it fast, live by it ("be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves/souls.") Christ promised to "never leave nor forsake" those that "HEAR His voice" AND "FOLLOW/OBEY" Him. See it yet?
Well brother, I'm afraid that I'm going to have to agree to disagree with you. I can see that this is going no where for either of us haha. At least we both agree that salvation is by faith in Christ alone, and everything after that builds off of that fundamental truth. If I might offer a bit of constructive criticism, I think your sermons would highly benefit ffrom some love, compassion, and at least a hint of God's forgiveness, not just hellfire all the time. Just my opinion though. Good luck.

@ToxicZombie8606 - This is really zbay777 using a friend's computer. Let me just say this in response to you, you are not seriously seeking the Truth. You are "wrestling" with God, not me. The Word can cause your "comfort zone" (false assurance) to shrink enough for just "the least hint" of the fear of God to begin in you. That will be the beginning of wisdom. This has not yet begun. It is not my lack of godly character that bothers you, it is God's Word. You cannot handle meat.[ Heb.5]

Moreover, we are no longer under the law, because Jesus has set us free from it. Even the New Testament states that anyone trying to find salvation by the law (i.e. circumsision in Galatians) will not have it, so your remark about changing "the law" is not relevant, either. Something I've noticed about you- you act as if you are infallible when MANY people who have more access to resources for bible interpretation disagree with you. God calls us to Love and humility, not angry condesencion.

@zbay777 - I beg your pardon, but Moses Law has been abolished, and this is quite relevant. There is in the New Covenant "the Law Of Faith", and this includes commandments. This is what circumspection refers to in Eph.5, wise vs foolish. It is seen in that context to be relative to the parable of the ten virgins in Mt.25 (5 wise, 5 foolish.) IF there is no law, there is no sin. I think you probably believe we may still sin? Therefore there must be a present Law. ("the obedience of faith"Rom.1:5)

(cont.)Access to human resources does not a good interpreter make. Nor does human wisdom equate with discernment of God's Words. The academicaly inclined in the Lord's days on this planet were the Pharisees and Saducees (in Jerusalem.) Those so inclined today are the apostate theologians and seminary byproducts of institutions of denial, blind guides. The understanding of the Word comes only from the Holy Spirit. This is likely why you are having such a wrestling match with it all.

On the contrary, I was stating that Paul does NOT contradict Jesus. Hence the whole "complimentary" thing. Also, I would prefer if you not put words in my mouth. When I said wrestling, I was not implying that I deny scripture. I meant that I try and understand how paul's writings fit in with what Jesus said. And now you are the one twisting Scripture. In Cor 5, this man was delivered to Satan so that "his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." Context is important.

@zbay777 - "Wrestling" was not clear. So, you are struggling to "rightly divide" the Word of truth. I can understand that, also that you do not feel you are denying the Word by emphasizing some scriptures at the expense of others (albeit, unintentionally.) Then you may well find the true understanding, with patience, and in God's time. Re.1Cor.5:the word "may" is conditional, the spirit is neither soul nor body. He was delivered to Satan "for the destruction of the flesh",He was not Heb.6,YET.
