@0x029A even if they use a faster processor it will still be a huge difference. ALL android devices take a while to boot up, regardless of their processor. My tablet is a tegra 2 and it takes like 45+ seconds to boot up. My phone uses the hummingbird processor and takes near a minute to boot up (even on custom roms). My S9 and X7 take less than 5 secs too boot up (warm boot)

Hmmmm... never thought that the introduction of android would make a cowon device that slow of booting. One thing i love most about their players is their almost instant (warm) boot time.

@sickley2, they used an extremely outdated ARMv6/ARM11 CPU in the D3. Their upcoming Z2 player has a slightly more modern Cortex-A8 chip, which should give bearable speed.
