@BlueRaptorTiger Pac-man being a revolution in the gaming industry (Half-Life) and Halo being a repetitive, boring, and crippled pop-corn shooter (Half-Life 2) At least HL1 looked good at launch. HL2 looked like shit at launch. The only thing it had going for it in the graphics department was that it didn't use shitty bump mapping techniques. HL1 was a revolutionary piece of software that is still the standard of gaming today. HL2 is just a fucking game. DEAL WITH IT.

@SiPlusPLKV Cause 50% will say half life is better just because its older and they feel nostalgic about it, and other 50% will say half life 2 is better cause its newer it has obviously better graphics and more modern gameplay.. Both opinions are correct in the same time they aren't, if you get what i mean

@SiPlusPLKV Well for me old games as good as they were they are unplayable today.. Perfect examples half life deus ex diablo 2 and metal gear solid 1.. And offcourse many many more... Some games need to be played in their time, not even this new HD collection fashion is good.. Those words come for a person who loves older games but can't play them today.. But i agree with what you say that you can't compare those 2 games... Its not fair for both of them

There is a Mod in production called Black Mesa Source which is a Recreation of Half life with the Full use of the source engine.
