@skylerdrmr51 Tom Bowes was the second "white" lead singer Tower had. The first was "Lenny Lee Goldstein" also known as the "Short Fat Sweaty Guy." He joined the band immediately after Michael Jeffries left. Then shortly after that Ellis Hall replaced Lenny.

Definitely Russ McKinnon guys...and Tom Bowes on vocals...the only "white" singer TOP has ever had to my recollection...and he killled it as well as all the brothers before and after...and don't miss Lee Thornberg on trumpet in this lineup...

Even though this was in a studio playing live,it was so much tighter than other live versions. GREAT posting, thanks.p.s. good to see Frank Zappa again, did'nt know he could play such a wicked trumpet among his other illustrious talents!!
