@Holly02391 Salam alaikum! The niqab can be a bit hot at first, but after a while you learn how to dress so that you don't get hot. Wear lighter fabrics in warm weather. Some hijabs and niqabs are so light that you can even feel the breeze on your neck/face through the hijab or niqab.

@Holly02391 You can wear what ever you feel comfortable in wearing. Dont let him make you wear something your not comfortable with yet. If you only want to wear Hijab so only wear hijab for now, and take your time. He cant force you to wear a niqab if you dont want to wear it. Just debate that with him. Also he should not wear shorts, he should wear 3 quarter length pants that cover down to his knee, as that is a mans awrah (between his belly button and knee)
