(October 26, 2009) Professor Bernard Roth, Founder and Interim Director of the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford, discusses how design practice has changed from engineering objects to a multidisciplinary approach, called design thinking, that changes the student's mindfulness and attitude and gives them the ability to solve myriad real world problems.

Excellent video. It clearly spells out the difference between 'designers' and 'design thinkers' . the good thing is that anyone coming from any discipline can become a designer thinker and contribute greatly to transformation the way we think and live.
