@Ifreezet Rock sold more merch than Austin in, had one of his segments be the highest rated in history, and was the biggest draw even over Austin all in 99 hence why they named a show after him Smackdown. Austin said himself when he returned Rock was extremely hot and the TOP GUY so he turned heel at WM 01. Rock went into Hollywood, Vince followed his lead by makin WWE studios that made every movies every other wrestler has done including Austin. Rock is the biggest draw in history

@Kingjd87 Dude relax. Take two deep breaths. No one is shitting on anybody especially The Rock. I'm a huge fan of both. The debate is in the middle. No need to curse anybody and call people "motherfuckers" and no, evidence are not in the videos because they both have almost the same reactions from the crowd. Lets not forget Hogan's pop and Bulldog's when he won the IC title. Facts are in numbers. Next time use John Cena's PG terms when using profanity =P

It was never about taking Austin's fans, it was about Rock gaining new ones. Austin always had his fan base mainly in the South. Rock by 2000 was by fay bigger than Austin especially around the east coast (NY, Philly, NJ, Boston...) and Cali. You Austin fans continuously shit on Rock's legacy and try to act like he was a side note. The youtube videos continuously prove you motherfuckers wrong by showcasing his pops and crowd reactions. Austin always drew the most pops over The Rock, even when The Rock was at his peak.The Rock took over WWF in 2000early 2001 due to Austin's injury and heel turn respectively.
