@riegroth Idiot.....

@riegroth But if your father composed this song in 1988, how come it was first performed in 1981?

Not a folksong at all. Are the songs of the Beatles english folk songs?

@TheBaneOfAmbiguity35 I'm aware of that. All I'm saying is the way he's going about it, his conduct, is more likely to dishonor his father and his work than to honor it. When people are spreading a person's work around, calling it 'representation of a nation's soul', full or praise and admiration, and some oaf ambles in kicking over chairs screaming "NO IT ISN'T! IT'S MY FATHER'S WORK! STOP SHARING IT YOU THIEVES!", which of the two sides do you think is doing the author more justice?

@Vignirv My father composed this song in 1988. It is not my opinion, it is a fact.
Some people think that by claiming a song as a folk song they are free to use it at will and without any restrictions. Then, if they publish it and claim it is a folk song they get all the raoyalties. That is a clean theft.
I want to compound the arquement. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Im spoiled, I surf the internet, Im not happy, Blah blah blah blah blah! Shut up and enjoy the music!

@riegroth And I'm sure that when this song continues to live on hundreds of years from now, when it'll have been old enough to be considered a folk song, your ghost will linger on to whine at people "It's stiiiilll nooooot a foooolk sooooong.. yooouuuu faaaaags..!" You say your father composed this song? Then you do him shame by bitching at people on the internet who enjoy it and consider it good enough to be worthy of being called a folk song, an eternal representation of a nation's spirit.
