The George Brothers are guys that have been around the block and still enjoy the ride. They are seasoned professionals and own their own music theater in Northwest Arkansas where they perform about 200 shows a year. They know how to entertain a crowd with country/southern rock, high energy music!

The George Brothers may be new to the Texas Music Scene, but they're no strangers to playing country music. Their parents, Leonard and Velma Jean George had a gospel group in the 60's and 70's, and the boys (Randall and DaWayne) started playing in the band about the same time they started school. Through the years they've played wtih a variety of major Nashville artists, and settled down to call the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down their home in 1993. In 2001, the brothers bought the theater and are continuing the legacy of the 4th longest running show in the Ozarks.

While the Hoe-Down is an excellent family entertainment stew of different genres of music and comedy, the George Brothers wanted to be able to play some of their own style of music. After hearing about the Texas red dirt music scene, they knew this was right where they wanted to be.

The George Brothers music is a mixture of Waylon, Willie, Merle, and Skynyrd with a lot of high energy guitar riffs and a little outlaw attitude thrown in for fun. It's classic country meets southern rock, with a little blues and jazz sprinkled on top for extra flavor. More than anything, it's about playing good music. These guys aren't in it for fame...they just want to play. You'll get the same show for 20 people as you do for 20,000 people. They've been around...they know the ropes...and they still can't get enough of it.
