I want some beach as well as staying in the Khao Sok national Park and Khao Lak seems to have it all. The islands look nice but in mid May i read you cannot get to them due to the monsoon coming. Are your photos also of the islands Ko Similian ?

khao lak is actually on the main land, but has very much an island feeling. ko similian is further up north.
we have been on overnight boat trips at the marine national park there! And we got a whole manta family to see. you will definitely enjoy your trip!
i can recommend the poseidon bungalows there.
