This is total garbage! Christianity, like organized religion in generally, is TOTALLY geared for MARRIED PEOPLE WITH CHILDREN!!! There is no place for singles in churches!!! If they have a "singles ministry" it is an unwanted stepchild that is far removed from the life and focus of the church. These "ministries" are full of unhappy and lonely people who know they're not really wanted nor a part of the church! Get real for heaven's sake!!!!

@stlgtrace sorry if you had a 'bad church' experience, which obviously does not reflect the 'true church'. this video is just the plain ole' Word of God, so you can choose to receive it or reject it, but the choice should not be made based on a 'bad ministry, or church'. J.C. is Lord, not them, LOL.

@hearingGod The problem of singles in churches will not go away whether you or anybody else denys it and puts their head in the sand. I saw your video and however well intentioned or nicely done it is it does not address the problems of single people in churches or Christianity. Rather than quoting scripture it might do you well to confront the leaders of your own church about their views on singleness. Does your church even have a singles ministry?

@stlgtrace the Lord removed us from 'institutionalized church'... we have our own 'church' at home, just like the first churches did : )

ministries or 'church institutions' don't solve problems -- as we know, many have agendas... it's a social club with a pecking order... no, we just need to allow Jesus in and let Him teach us, fulfill us first, then everything else shall follow (Psa 37:4) <3

@hearing While any church, religion or philosphy for that matter is only as good as the people who follow it, churches may not be able to solve problems completely they can surely be part of the solution. Single people face a many big problems and challenges today & the church and Christianity for that matter has done a very poor job in meeting singles' needs. Denying the problems and challenges unique to single adults only makes the problems worse. Hiding behind a Bible is not going to work!

@stlgtrace I would suppose if we were really in the 'last days' that it would 'be bad' all around... and that's what I'm hearing coming from you. ("the love of many will grow cold")

A bible is not a relationship with Jesus, yet the only way to have one (relationship) is by first reading the Word of God:

Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

I don't hide behind a bible, I just believe it's truth more than 'man's', and receive it's promises.

@hearingGod My final word on this subject is that there is no denying that single adutls face huge challenges. And the population of single adults will continue to grow. You can throw scripture at me and pretend that the problems don't exist but they won't go away. What I'm saying to you seems to be falling on deaf ears. Since you seem to care enough about single adults to make a video perhaps you can think about the real and unique problems they face and take an even bigger stand for them.
