  • "disastrous Richard Pryor show" Nigga, you crazy.

  • @CoolerKing37 maybe i am! I hardly even smirked throughout the whole series.. The sketches were way too long, and weak.. The show was cancelled after one season.. Richard Pryor is a comedy legend, it's just this particular show i didn't like.. Besides Charlie.

  • @lloydbrookes10

Richard Pryor himself said it wasn't cancelled, and its length was planned.

  • @Hiromu656 you're right, the show was never cancelled but the length of the series was reduced (from 10 to 4 shows) without re-commission or re-run.. Pryor never worked again on NBC.

  • lol why is there a huge picture of sheep in the background???? I do not mean to sound super racist, but isn't this a form of reverse rasicim, considering it looks like it represents cotton towards black people. Richard Pryor had a good sense of humor lmao.

  • @kuru2k9 yeah hehe.. richard refers to the stereotypical set in his intro ("out here in the desert") - cheeky!

  • funny as hell.

  • mistreatment of Marlon Brando! haha. Couldn't stop laughin'. I remember the 73 academy awards.

  • lol we used to call them "WHITE BACKS".this is just clowning on whites, love it.

  • Enjoyed this thoroughly.

  • Reel Injun. Great documentary.

  • Marlon Brando won an oscar for the godfather and did not attend the event, instead he sent an Indian woman to "accept" the award, however when she got up to the podium she informed everyone that Brando was refusing the award as a protest to the treatment of Indians, particularly in film. She was literally booed off the stage and from what I understand very nearly assaulted on several occasions after the fact.
