-Thanx for your request, I never thought about translating the song to english.. but I will try...
VERSE1
Our people are dying of hunger in the jungles
there is no one who will turn a listening ear
to hear them cry, they cry in one breath
we act as if we don't hear a single word(or sound)
CHORUS
Tears stream down, fall for our people
tears stream down, fall on my hands
what to do? to make it better
like before, like before
VERSE2
Tell me now, what are we gonna do? We
are one people but we don't lend a hand to help
how come you're not scared that it will curse you?
it will curse us one of these days
CHORUS(as before)
END CHORUS(Below)
Tears stream down, fall for our people
tears stream down, fall on my hands
tears stream down, fall down like rain
what to do? to make it better
like before, like before
-This is a response to a person who questioned about me writing this song....
It's only once in a blue moon that you can write a song that comes straight out from your heart.During the time I wrote this song.I was stressed and concerned for the hmong people being persecuted and spit on in Laos and Thailand. It took 30years just to acknowledge our people suffering in the jungles,But what's even sadder is that we as the refugees from there, knew about it.For 30 years we haven't accomplished much; we destroy eachother in our greed. This song truly, truly came from my heart and soul.I only hope that you can feel my tears drop down as you listen to this song. Instead of screaming and shouting and blaming the U.S. we should be proud that we have survived this long... That we fought for the end of communism. We are not immigrants.WE ARE REFUGEES,we were trying to survive being annihilated by communism and by the backlash of helping the U.S. we should not blame our fellow Hmong for staying behind either.Would you defend your home? Would you move to a new country, new traditions. The ones who chose to stay fought long and hard for their way of life, and I envy them for fighting so long. But communism spreads like fire and our fellow Hmong have lost the battle over their way of life and forced into the jungles.Don't ask the Government what they are going to do.Ask yourself, what are you going to do.When we as the children of the Hmong refugees stand strong with support. The government WILL stand behind us.I wrote this song to light the fire in our youth's soul. To have a strength like burning ember. It is time that the youth stand up for what's right. Our parents went through bombs and arrays of gun smoke to get this far. It is time we take the reigns and let them rest.WE ARE THE HMONG REFUGEE AND THEIR CHILDREN!

P.S. I hope you can understand that there is no point of saying that I wrote this song, if I didn't... But I did write this song... and these calluses on my fingers prove it...
