Argentinian tango by Carlos Gardel, probably the most famous interprator of tangos of all time. The famous song writers and singers have rarely been coupled by the audience as is the case with Gardel. He did make great tangos, but anyone who recognizes his name describes him as singer, not a composer. I guess this is universal since the same thing happened in Finland to our most best known tango singer Olavi Virta, who also was an extraordinary composer, but no one knew him as such.
I beg of you to forgive me my rather blunt way of playing the Cuesta Abajo. I've learned to play finnish tangos from the age of six. The fundamental difference between argentinian and finnish tangos is the beat and it's consistency. Where the argentinian tango flows along desperately as one of Salvador Dali's paintings, the finnish tango stumbles corner after corner in 1920's cubism.
There is a reason for that how ever: Finnish tango must have continuous and tactic rythm rattled by the drumset in the back ground. Otherwise the generally unrhytmic finnish people will find them selfs completely confused in the dancefloor. Íf you want, I will stand in court to give witness testimony for the previous.
Great interpretation!! Greetings from Buenos Aires!

@MetalBlackHorse, Thank you very much. I love the "argentinian" tango but while plaiying one I have a really hard time to get ride of the finnish traditional tango drum beat, it's really frustrating...

Thank you George, I have indeed thought of bandoneon. I'd really, really want to learn to play one, but first I need to overhaul this old accordeon before buying a new instrument :)
