"A wonderful movie for the whole family"!!! LOL I bet this movie really scared the heck out of kids back then. I don't think any minors enjoyed watching this movie. Today on the other hand, this movie would be considered in the comical genre.

No, it was not a 3D film in the classic sense - the "Ghost Viewer" glasses audiences wore simply made the ghosts appear in color, as the rest of the film was in black & white. Producer-director William Castle called this process "Illusion-O".
