Just a Closer Walk With Thee (Public Domain) Matthew and Tom

Matthew Lombart and Tom Willett have collaborated for the first time with this old Gospel song. The song's writer has been unknown since its first recording. It was recorded by Elvis, Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. It was done by Randy Travis and Patsy Cline. It was used in the movies A Face in the Crowd and Hud and Live and Let Die. Matthew and Tom are about 2000 miles from each other and several decades separate them in age. Both enjoy performing and have a love of the same kinds of music. This is done very simply with a guitar and keyboard and two voices with no sheet music or fancy arrangements or even a click track. The editing was done on a $20 editing program.
